A product with a low U-factor will be more efficient.
It’s a good idea to consider the other components of your window besides just the glass. How the sash and sill seal will make a big difference in the amount of heat that leaks between the two parts. Good weather stripping will help make an efficient seal between these two parts, as well as keeping out the elements.
